Engineer / Designer

Join Tuco Marine Group in Faaborg, Denmark, and help develop, design and manufacture the next generation of ProZero workboats.

We are looking to strengthen our design department and are therefore seeking a committed and skilled colleague to join our design team.

Your primary focus will be on the design and development of our vessels, as well as preparing technical drawings and other documentation for production, customers and classification societies.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our autonomous Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), which represent an important development area for Tuco Marine and a key part of our focus on the future of maritime technology.

If you are passionate about design and product development, have solid experience with 3D design and enjoy turning ideas into practical and manufacturable solutions, you may be the person we are looking for. Experience or an interest in the maritime industry would naturally be a strong advantage.

The position is based at our facilities in Faaborg, Denmark, and the successful candidate will be expected to work from this location. We are currently only considering candidates who are eligible to work within the EU.

About the position

As part of our design team, your responsibilities will include:

· Designing and further developing our innovative ProZero workboats.

· Preparing technical drawings and documentation for production, customers and classification societies.

· Working with advanced 3D design tools such as SolidWorks.

· Contributing to the development and optimisation of the company’s technical solutions.

We are looking for a colleague who:

· Has an engineering degree or a similar technical educational background.

· Has strong skills in 3D design and technical documentation.

· Has an interest in boats, engineering and technical solutions and is motivated to contribute to innovative projects.

· Is solution-oriented and enjoys working on projects where a standard solution may not already exist.

· Has a high level of proficiency in technical English.

Experience from the maritime industry, composite structures, classification societies or the development of autonomous systems is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We offer

· An exciting workplace in an innovative company focused on lightweight materials, advanced technology and custom-built vessels.
