Tuco Marine Group in Faaborg is busy, and we are therefore looking for a skilled employee with strong skills in the maritime sector for our company.
The tasks of the position will primarily be based in our design department for newbuild projects in the ProZero series, Our series of fast boats for professional users.
The candidate we are looking for could have a background as a Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer with maritime experience. And we would like the candidate to have experience in solving the following tasks:
- Preparation of production documentation, written as well as 3D drawings, working with SolidWorks.
- Strategic purchasing in connection with project start-ups Preliminary calculations for quotations in cooperation with the sales team.
- Post-calculation of projects.
- Customer contact in regards to new build projects.
The candidate: You have solid experience in the maritime sector, and preferably experience with new build projects. You may have a degree in Ship Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant professional background that enables you to work with newbuilding projects on an administrative, but also a high professional level, and in close cooperation with both own employees, customers and subcontractors.
The position is located in our operating company Tuco Yacht Værft, where we develop, design and build boats in lightweight materials for the professional market. In recent years, we have launched a range of professional boats – our ProZero line, which specifically caters to the Offshore, Workboat and Defence segments.
